We are dedicated to making the cost of dentistry as small a problem as possible for our patients. You can help us to do this by understanding and following the guidelines of our Financial Policy.
Val Verde Dental LLC is a dentist owned practice, not an insurance company. Therefore, the financial obligation for services is directly between you and Val Verde Dental. We will help you deal with your insurance company as a free service to you, but the responsibility for payment to Val Verde Dental remains with you.
Please verify with your insurance company that the dentist you plan to see, and/or the services you will receive, are covered. We will try to do the same, but the final obligation for ensuring coverage is yours in most cases.
We have made substantial investments in a state-of-the-art computer system and experienced staff do our billing. However, your bill will not be correct unless we first receive the correct information from you. For this reason, we will ask you if the billing information and insurance information we have is correct at each visit.
If you do not have dental insurance, we will ask that you pay at the end of your visit (we accept MasterCard, Visa, Amercian Express, and Discover) We also have financing plans available. Please ask about our 6 month and 12 month no interest options.
We will submit your claims for you with your insurance company and estimate your portion of services at the conclusion of your visit. We ask that you pay your portion the day the service is performed. Any variance in the estimation will be billed to you once the insurance company has paid.
Once an account becomes 60 days overdue, an 18 percent finance charge will be applied. Patients with accounts over 90 days may be asked to pay any outstanding bills before being seen at Val Verde Dental again, so it is very important to avoid this problem.
All of the above steps are necessary due to the complexities of insurance company billing. By following this policy, you can be more certain that your Val Verde Dental bills will be correct and that we will be able to better hold down the high cost of dentistry.

As a courtesy to our patients, we will file your dental insurance claim. Our computer system will estimate your portion based on the information you have provided us. We ask that your estimated co-payment and deductible be paid at the time of service.
